Excellent devotional

Various authors give 365 reasons why God is awesome.

Awe-inspiring!

This is the best devotional I have ever owned....this is entirely God-Centered and focused on his attributes. It draws you into a closer relationship with the King!

Great daily read

This book has been great and i'm reading it through for the second year. Each entry is short and sweet so it doesn't feel overwhelming but it's also very thought provoking. I like this devotional because it is little enough to read every day that i don't feel bogged down with not enough time to read my bible at the same time and if i miss a day or two catching up is quick.. I like this book and really love so many of the authors in it. It combines the styles and some of the best writings of Edwards, Piper, Luther, Dobson, Spurgeon, Calvin, Tozer they are good everyday! I would reccommend this wholeheartedly.

Well worth a year's reading

I've found few devotionals that have inspired me enough to stick with them for a full year. This book was an exception. The book is a year's worth of well-chosen one page excerpts from many authors ranging from current and well-know such as Max Lucado to many authors previously unknown to me such as Stephen Charnock who lived in the 1600s. One of the delights in reading the book was the discovery of a number of writers I might never have stumbled across otherwise. Each month of the book focuses on an attribute of God such as love or sovereignty. I found the individual readings consistently enriched my understanding of God and thereby my relationship with Him. Spending a month considering each topic through the words of many different writers had a significant cumulative effect in my understanding of and appreciation of the attribute. I strongly recommend this book to anyone looking for a good daily devotional. It definitely served it's purpose in enriching my devotional times and was a key tool in the growth of my relationship with God this year.
