HOW WE HAVE LIVED

Artist/author Ventura begins with a description of caves and follows the structures and ways of living through the Vikings to farmhouses to chateaus to the very contemporary tall buildings and modern apartments. Using his trademark glowing pastels Ventura beautifully illustrates the various forms of shelter. Also included is a glossary of relevant terms. For a nice gift package pair this with "Clothing" also by Piero Ventura.
