House Guest by Edwina Martin-Arnold released on Apr 25, 2006 is available now for purchase. This description may be from another edition of this product.
This is my first E.M. Arnold book ,and I don't remember how I stumbled upon her but I'm glad I did. I had been looking for more books on the same line as Brenda Jackson's (Midnight Hour) and Adrianne Byrd's (Blue Skies). This book is a good runner up. Both Malik and Ronie start out as stiff under the collar professionals who both have obligations to fulfill despite the heat between them. With a few turn of events the roller coaster ride begins. They go from room temperate to hot by the middle of the book The ride down the roller coaster is unbelievably sweet. Malik goes from Mr. Stiff to hott stufff Ms. Arnold does an excellent job making the reader reverberate the intimacies of newly discovered love. Excellent job.

She has done it again! Many romance authors get stuck in the same writing formula and add different characters. However, Edwina Martin-Arnold, author of Houseguest has managed to write yet another novel that doesn't make you queasy with cheesiness. Dr. Veronica Howell finds her life threatened and must hire ex-Navy SEAL Malik Cutler as a personal bodyguard. I won't spoil the rest, but I will say that Martin-Arnold adds suspense with a touch of mystery to this one!
A houseguest like no other...

Someone hates the services offered at Dr. Veronica Howell's clinic. So much so, they're trying to kill her. With no real help from the local police, where's a girl to turn? To an ex navy SEAL, of course! With connections in all the right places, Veronica's best friend, Samantha, recommends that yummy Malik Cutler becomes the good doctor's "executive protector" and guard her body! At first, the interaction between Veronica and Malik is tense. She thinks he's arrogant and a trained killer. He detests some of the services her clinic provides. Nevertheless, close living arrangements, brings about a VERY conducive environment for eliminating all that tension! I loved this book! "House Guest" was Mrs. Arnold's fourth book and it had passion and emotion beyond words. The love scenes were breathtaking and Malik could guard my body, (and heart) anytime! I'm anxiously awaiting the sequel that will feature Samantha. Once again, well done Mrs. Arnold!
Malik can stay at my HOUSE anytime!!!

Edwina Martin-Arnold has done it again! I loved "House Guest". It has a perfect mix of suspense and definitly romance. I dont particularly enjoy a romance novel that seems so cookie cutter: Boy meets Girl, Some tragedy happens or personality flaw that must be overcome, Boy gets Girl, Happily ever after. But "House Guest" had me forgetting that it is just a book! The descriptions are so on point that I felt as if I was a fly on the wall watching the various scenes being played out. It brought a new aspect to reading for me that very few authors can. I recomend this book to anyone and EVERYONE! Especially men...ya'll could use some help. My man will definitly read it! Peace and Blessings to the Creator of such a wonderful book!
