Good Reading

This book was a very good read. I loved the chemistry between Bryce and Jenna. And the food ......delicious and decadent!I am hoping that this book is the first in the series for the McCabe sisters and the Ryder brothers. A MUST READ!

Bryce Ryder doesn't know how his life got so screwed up. He's a mega-popular celebrity chef with his own restaurant and cooking show. He thought he had everything worked out since his time with the wicked witch Chrissy, who almost cost him his beloved restaurant as well as all of his savings. Now, some crazy reporter is spreading lies that could cost him his dreams and his plans. Thank God Jenna is here, she always saves the day, she'll make it right. If she can just come up with a plan that he can live with. As Bryce sits down with Jenna, he notices something distinctly different, she's more self possessed, more sure of herself, and damn, she looks better and hotter than he's ever seen her. What's going on with her. And the plan she comes up with, be seen dating an average girl instead of the size zero's he been dating. He likes the kind that don't except anything. But he would love someone who could appreciate his fine skills as a chef, both in the kitchen and out. Jenna has known Bryce for her whole life, since he moved to Lucan in middle school when she dump her meatloaf in his lap. He's cute, sweet, and walking talking sex appeal. Jenna wants the whole deal, ring, wedding, kids. Jenna has a plan, it's her birthday tomorrow, and she can't think of a better present than Bryce. The more things heat up, the more Jenna is falling in love with Bryce. When she find out he used her to get his image cleaned up, though, all best are off. She cannot be with a man she cannot trust. But Bryce says she is wrong, that he never would use her and his feelings are for real... can he convince her before she walks away forever? Hot in Here has all the right elements to make this romance steamy hot and sexy to read! I love how Sophie Renwick brings the world of television cooking and romance together. Bryce has been hurt terribly in the past. He has had one woman almost ruin him for any others. His trust for women is zero. But has always trusted Jenna, which might be because up till now he has never noticed she is a woman. She has always been the best friend that bails him out. Jenna has always, since high school, had a crush on Bryce. She has wanted him since she first laid eyes on him. When Bryce suddenly sees her as a woman and not a best buddy, she is not sure if she can believe her luck! The sexiest man she knows is finally noticing HER. When these two get together the steam and passion is off the charts. I needed a fan while reading this, just to cool off from the HEAT. When you want a fun, fast paced romance you want Hot in Here.

Both Bryce and Jenna never knew what hit them! HOT IN HERE quickly became my favorite indulgence. There is nothing better to me than a well written highly intoxicating love story with a happy ending. terrific contemporary romance

Celebrity chef Bryce Ryder has known Jenna McCabe forever. The womanizer has never had sexual thoughts about his reticent neighbor, but lately cannot stop from thinking of Jenna. He considers making a move on her, but fears he would not be able to deal with it and does not wish to risk their friendship. However he reconsiders his belief she is a major introvert when he receives bad publicity and she charges into the fray like a lioness protecting her cub. He likes this side of Jenna and soon begins teaching her tricks in the kitchen and just about every other room as a reluctant Jenna no longer conceals her cravings for him though she fears he will turn her heart into burnt toast. The kitchen is heated, but not as hot as the lead couple, whose partnering makes for a terrific contemporary romance. Each of the protagonists comes into their changing relationship with doubts because both fervently want the passion and much more but fear the risk of ending their friendship; thus Jenna and Bryce weigh the opportunity cost of following up on falling in love. Sophie Renwick's tale is very entertaining and fans will rejoice that more Ryder siblings will follow. Harriet Klausner
