Great Book!

We love Usborne Beginners. This book is a great quality hardback book. It has information and pictures of horses and ponies that my children found fascinating! This is a great addition to any child's library!

Very informative book for young readers

I recently purchased this book for my five yr old nephew as he has been crazy about horses lately. I really didn't know what to expect with it, but I was very surprised by the amount of content. Not only are there photos of horses and ponies, but throughout the whole book are very nice illustrations. There are several different topics, such as when a horse is born, grooming horses, and the type of work that different horses do. There is even a section with some historical information about what work horses used to do. Other things to note is the glossary of terms that are commonly used with horses and ponies, and an index as well. The publisher also offers a link to their website where children, with the help of their parents, can explore other kid-friendly websites about horses and ponies. So if you have a young reader that likes/loves horses and you would like to give them some more information about the animal, do get this book. They are for sure going to love this book!
