This book tells me everything I need to know. This book is going to help me when I join Rangers and when I take lessons. Totally recommend

Great for Novice

This book was purchased as a precursor to lessons and purchase of a horse. We had riden horses in our childhood, but that was some years ago. Excellent beginning point to make lessons more productive.

Very Informative

I have Learned alot form this book..as I have always loved horses and would like to own one someday. I will not buy one until I know all about horses and can take care of them properly. Horseback Riding for dummies

This is a GREAT book!!!!! I have been riding for years and years and love to step back and resolidify the basics!!! This book is awesome for that and I am sure the new horseback rider would feel so confident and knowledgeable after reading this book!!!! Awesome 5 star!!!

Superb Book...even if you aren't a dummy

This book covers the basics of horseback riding in an involving and intelligent manner. Certainly, if all you know about horses is that they have four legs and a tail, you're going to find this book indispensable if you're interesting in expanding your knowledge. But, if you're returning to riding, you'll still find this to be a helpful and enjoyable aid in returning to the saddle.

No longer be a dummy about horseback riding with this book

The writing is clear and helpful. I knew next to nothing about horses or horseback riding, and this book gave me enough information to build my confidence and enthusiasm to try. I highly recommend it!
