A super choice for beginner riders!

This book was useful to me because I had knowledge of European equestrianism, but I knew little of the history of the North American equestrian variety. The formation of the sport turned out to be especially important in the 70s and 90s. Which is very well described. The basics of a future horse owner or athlete are described. About the rules of buying a horse, registering with associations, etc. Yes, maybe a lot has changed now, but the knowledge can always be pumped up. Thanks to the author, the work is amazing.

Judy Richter is a great help to the equine community

I found this book a great help in improving my riding skills . And ride my spooky horse and know what to do when she did spook . I know this would be a great book for any level of riding . I think Judy writes her words so that its hard to put the book down.

Excellent Overview

Judy Richter's book is excellent, everything that an aspiring rider needs to know to get going..
