Hope For A Misfit's Holiday

Chandler "Misfit" Cooper is the epitome of a fine and educated man. With his beautiful wife, Hope, by his side, he continues to make amazing strides in his personal life and within the north St. Louis City community. Determined to continue making a difference in the lives of the people he encounters, he converts his youth center to a community center. Nevertheless, he's met with d j vu when he meets Derek, who reminds him of Rashad. Immediately, Misfit knows he has to save him.

Hope doesn't want Misfit to get involved in Derek's life because she doesn't want a repeat of what happened with Rashad. However, she can't focus too much on Misfit and his drama because a blast from the past causes her to face drama of her own. The holidays are coming up but there's no holiday cheer as Hope struggles to keep her sanity throughout the passing days.

Derek Chapman is the oldest of six siblings and feels it's his role to help his single mother raise his brothers and sisters. She encourages him to focus on school while she worries about running the household. Yet, Derek is tired of watching his mother struggle and in an effort to make sure his family has the best holidays, he gets caught up in some mess no one can seem to get him out of.
