I could not put down this book! Read it with a smile on my face from cover to cover! The author's personal storyline and historical overviews of beekeeping make it a wonderful read for anyone wanting to learn about beekeeping or honey tasting and hive products. I especially enjoyed the author's glossary of terms and honey descriptions in the back of the book. As a honey lover and beekeeper, I have struggled to find words to describe varietal honeys, and the author provided them for me. You will not be disappointed with this read~a great addition to any library!!

This book is excellent for both beginner and experienced beekeepers addressing the incredibly wide range of how honey bees affect all our lives. Beginning with pollination, health and healing, history and the vast world of honeys the author discovers while traveling around the world. The author is passionate about the subject and it comes through in the story. Highly recommended.

Marina truly touches the love of the hive, this is something you understand by opening a colony and see the world inside. You can easily see the how deeply the bees have touched her. This was a pleasure to read and as a keeper it made so many common threads that I found myself constantly say "oh yeah...me to". Also the reading was very comfortable and fliud.
