This is a must for new nurses in home care

For nurses who are trying home care for the first time, or those who know they need more specific information about nursing interventions when dealing with older clients, this is the book for you. When we care for any patient who requires home care, there are multiple areas that require detailed teaching. Teaching an older person, who may not be cognatively, or emotionally able to learn, makes this work even more difficult. The section dealing with medication regimes and the one on providing care to a elderly person with diabetes are particularly good. There are very helpful suggestions which make our work a little easier. The charts and tables that the author of the latter chapter has done supurb work in putting the information right at our finger tips. Excellent text.
