Excellent for Daily Devotion

We've had this bible for two years and we continue to read it every morning as we begin our school day. Unlike standard devotion books, we are reading more bible and less "stories". We take turns reading the bible verses and mom finishes up with the explanation at the end. It has been the beginning of many great conversations and it keeps us accountable with the dated pages. We currently own three copies and I'm buying two more -- one for dad and one for the six year old.

Perfect choice!

This is an awesome version and my son loves to just open it and start reading!

Wonderful daily devotion

This book is a wonderful daily devotion for kids AND adults alike. We normally read each devotion individually and then discuss it as a family. We will occasionally read it aloud together as well. The family discussions are invaluable and they open an opportunity to discuss other Biblical topics and life issues. Even if you have read the Bible (you are reading it daily, aren't you?) you will get a lot out of this book.
