so perfect and idyllic

Even if you do not particularly follow the Hollywood film star scene, this book offers a fascinating glimpse at some unique houses in Los Angeles. Mostly in Hollywood and the nearby suburbs. Each house also has a perfectly manicured garden, often with a pool. The styles vary widely. As Saeks relates, several houses were designed by famous architects, like Schindler or Neutra. Everything seems so perfect and idyllic in the photos. Some houses, up in the hills, also have fantastic views of Los Angeles. The book shows that enough money can on occasion purchase the utmost in style.
