Cricket Starr never disappoints!

Former 1930's Hollywood actress, vampire Cleopatra Lutz is at a crossroads in her life. She has grown tired of trying to find her next meal, as well as from hiding from the paranormal society that is hunting her kind. Cleo comes across Michael Brown, a newly released nightwalker companion, and he offers her his services, both in bed and out. In bed as her lover, out of bed as her regular blood source. She takes him up on his offer to become her lover, but didn't realize that, once their sexual encounter was complete, she did not completely remove her fang marks from a very sexy part of Michael's lower body. Hence, he is now her nightwalker companion, whether she wants him to be or not. Now she must place her mark in the correct spot, on his neck, for all to see. Michael Brown has been a nightwalker companion most of his life. Newly released from his companion bond because his nightwalker found a mate, he is anxious to show Cleo how close nightwalker and companion can become. However, Michael has two big problems: Cleo doesn't trust him and the paranormal society is trying their best to find her. In order to win her over, Michael kidnaps Cleo, locking her in an old movie studio where he and his friends try to get her to remember and recapture her movie star life prior to becoming a nightwalker. Alas, the paranormal society finds her, then things really begin to heat up! All in all, Fangs for the Memories, was a cute book. Even though Cleo was an extremely stubborn vampire, I found myself sympathizing with her. Her heart had been broken and she was scared to love again. As for Michael, I can only wish for a man such as he to see to my total comfort and needs. Sigh. Fangs for the Memories was enjoyable, as are all of the other Cricket Starr books I have read.
