At $8.95US cover price, this book cannot be beat. I picked it up because I need help developing my slapshot. The coverage of all points related regarding scoring is fantastic. You won't find information about improving your skating, but you will find plenty about dekes, stick handling, shooting, and best of all, reading the goalie. I only found one fault with the book -- some explanations are too simple and don't go in depth where you might have a question about their explanation.I cannot express to you how helpful this book is to me. I am an average player, and it filled me in on a lot of things I didn't know and probably never would if I hadn't read it. Besides, this book is so colorful and well put together that just the pictures of the pros make it worth the money.I'd say a "good read" for any player who has been playing less than two years and a "must read" for any forward who has been playing for less than two years.
