In this brief text, McMichael gives an undergraduate history student a synopsis of reliable history websites. Along with a history of history on the web, as he puts it so appropriately. If your computing background is a still sketchy, be reassured that this is not unusual of history majors. Perhaps your computer and network usage has been mostly recreational, as opposed to professional. McMichael writes for you. Refreshingly little computer jargon. But enough ideas to let you do serious research using history resources on the web.
