Exactly What I'd Hoped For

I knew I would be signing up for images from this book, but I had no idea that it would be 99% pictures! This really is a pictorial archive (I'd never met a book of strictly pictures before, so I guess I didn't think it would be like that lol), and the only text is in footers with some information on the design (location, time period, etc). This was perfect for me, because I am developing a comic, and decided that instead of trying to make up my own patterns and designs for certain things, I'd take direct inspiration- and I'm so glad that I took a chance on this book, because it's VERY helpful! I may even crank out my own designs with guidance from the archive, it's just very cool. I'd recommend this one to anyone interested in art history, design (architectural, general art, or fashion), and anyone who just wants a neat coffee table book.
