The characters in "His Tender Touch" are believable and compelling. Gray is an intriguing, tortured hero, haunted by a tainted legacy. Audrey is strong, yet vulnerable, with old fears of her own to overcome if she is to outwit her enemy and survive. The rugged, colorful New Mexico setting is vivid and adds much to the mystical feel of this intense story of love and trust. A great read!

Howard Lambert, CEO of Lambert enterprises, abruptly sends financial analyst Audrey Sussman to audit the books of Puma's Lair guest ranch in a remote area of New Mexico. Upon arrival, the handyman, his mother, and the manager treat Audrey with disdain and suspicion. Only Grayson Murdoch seems to care about her needs. Based on a three-year-old deal, the manager Richard Emmanuel claims he will be co-owner, along with Lambert, in one month. Richard believes Lambert is using Audrey to pull a fast one on him. In spite of the hostility and even Gray's warning on trust, Audrey begins to fall in love with her benefactor. However, someone wants her dead and Gray, a former cop, may be the only person who can keep alive the woman he now loves. Award winning author Sharon Mignerey demonstrates why she is so popular among fans of romantic suspense with her latest thriller, HIS TENDER TOUCH. The story line is filled with non-stop action amidst a beautiful love story. Audrey is a superb character who is not a superheroine blithely defeating her enemies. Instead, she shows her fears. Gray is an intriguing person, who struggles between love and his own phobia that spousal abuse runs in his gene pool. Readers can trust that a Ms. Mignerey novel will always prove entertaining and this one further substantiates the theory.Harriet Klausner
