Short and Sweet

As designed, this book is a very quick read, hence the series title "Stolen Moments." I read this book in less than two hours. For a quick romantic infusion this book is good.The development of the characters is brief and to the point, since this book is only 93 pages long, but you are able to identify with the characters well enough to enjoy the story. Calla is a graphic artist at an advertising firm and William is a conservative banker and he is monied as well. The story plot is, again though short, interesting and kept my attention as to what was going to happen next. Calla starts out trying to be the prim and proper lady so that William will see her that way and decide to marry her, but this backfires and there is a scene that is pure vitrol. Calla then changes her tactics and returns to being herself, which causes some uneasy moments for William. There is an interesting twist at the end that finalizes the education of William about Calla that was interestingly done.The intimate scenes were brief but well enough described to convey the desire and energy that was involved in the relationship. The only detractor from this book is the author's use of words that some in the general public would not really know the meaning of and this may cause a bit of angst for those readers.Otherwise, for a short romantic comedy, I would recommend this book to anyone.
