Sequel to Perfect Mistress but not as much fun.

Synopsis- leading lady is independent widow who wants intimacy but not marriage. Her target wants both. While the leading characters are typical of Ms Alexander (intelligent witty female, engaging, occasionally inept male,) and the dialogue is witty and entertaining, the basic premise lacks credibility and so the plot fails to hold the reader. The first in this series was much better.
