Lee Gresham is trying to help her friend Princess Sophie de Ramblet when she goes to Prince Raoul D'Arllac. They the Royal couple have been engaged at a very early age. Now that they are adults, neither want the other as a spouse. Raoul's friend Philippe and he come up with a plan to get Sophie to call off the wedding. Invite Sophie to go mountain climbing with him and his friends. With the idea that Sophie will see she and Raoul have nothing in common. Sophie also wants to stop the marriage so she has an idea is to have Lee go in her place, flirt with Raoul then have the press tear him to bits for playing around on the Princess. Lee agrees but when she gets to Zermatt Lee changes her mind. Lee fell in love with Raoul as he did her. One thing leads to another and Raoul finds a way to keep Lee and gain her love enough for her to marry him. I rated this book 5 stars. From the back of the book: ' His Royal Highness is looking for a bride... The Prince's Choice by Rebecca Winters. Raoul D'Arillac has, as the heir to the throne, been betrothed to a stranger since he was born. But as his arranged wedding approaches, he realizes he's fallen for another woman. Yet schoolteacher Lee Gresham doesn't have a drop of royal blood...' The King's Bride by Lucy Gordon is not even one star. I hated it, rated R.
