Includes easy one-hour stroll along a quiet nature trail, a trek along 80 miles of the Applachian Trail, or a medium distance that suits you. This description may be from another edition of this product.
This is only a bit dated. The book has great information, and any update information can easily be found. Great buy.
Good resource, but take a map

This book has a comprehensive list of hiking trails in Georgia, and has good descriptions. My only caution would be to reference a map when driving to the trailhead. I followed the directions in the book on a recent hike and got lost, later to find the directions included at least one typo and were either out of date (Highway numbers changed) or just wrong.
Good reading!

The trail reviews are pretty comprehensive and informative, and quite interesting. Trails are rated for difficulty on a simple easy-moderate-strenuous scale, and the reviews are obviously written from a first-hand observer's view. I heartily recommend it to a casual hiker like myself, and it seems that there is useful information for experienced hikers as well.
