Some things never change... men have 2 things on their mind.

This is a fun story that shows KM's humor at it's best. Maggie (the herorine) has banded together the women of her and a waring clan to put a stop to the needless violence of the clan fueding. She has lost one to many brothers and family members to the fued as have many of the others in the clan. Well she gets all the women together and they decide to withhold both their cooking skills as well as their other "favors". Maggie also gets the clan women from the other clan to do the same for the men in their clan. They had hoped that it would last only for a few days but the men are just as stubborn as they are and it is now weeks and tempers are flying....In comes the hero - Branden who decided that his childhood friend Maggie can be won over by his good looks and charms as have all of the women with whom he has ever crossed paths with. But, when he goes inside he sees Maggie a bit different than in the past. Not only that but Maggie has loved him for years and is sure that she will crumble under his onslot...Add in a few brewding brothers (Sin, Ewen, Lochland) and hang on for the ride. If you like highland stories this one is a must!

A beautiful romance

I bought this book after I found out Kinley MacGregor is also Sherrilyn Kenyon. Just like with her paranormals, she brings something fresh to a staid, boring formula. I love the way this author's mind works. They way she brings the past to life and can blend it with humor and real emotions.Braden is a welcomed relief from the alpha jerk hero who has to prove himself. He is a man in tune with his strengths and his weaknesses and I love the way he was able to allow the heroine to grow and discover herself. He was a real hero.Maggie really touched me. At times I saw myself in her and I could relate to her wanting to save her family. She was a great heroine for Braden without being bitchy or whiney. The secondary characters are some of the best I've seen. I like the way they weren't background to the story, but were real people who helped bring everything together. Now I'm off to track down more of Macgregor/Kenyon's books. I can't wait to read them.

Excellent Romance Book!

This is the first book that I have read written by Kinley MacGregor and I can assure you it won't be the last. It was great! Maggie was one female character that an everyday woman could relate with and Braden was one male character an everday woman DREAMS of. No usless scenes that lost my attention here. Great love scenes...I want Sin now!!

Kinley MacGregor does it again!

After reading Master of Desire and Master of Seduction i couldn't wait to see what she would come up with next, and i was not disapointed. As soon as i saw the book on the shelf i didn't even have to see the back i bought it. This book was wonderful, the characters are very real and well written. I loved the chemistry between Braden and Maggie. I have read alot, and i mean a lot of books and mostly i can always tell who is the bad guy and how it will end. This one i couldn't. I read this book in one sitting and wished i had another. Kinley MacGregor, i can't wait for the next one. I have my heart set on Sin :)
