Book Overview

The facts can no longer be ignored. High Treason challenges everything we have been told about the motives behind President Kennedy's murder. There is now convincing evidence that, from the fateful day in Dallas through four decades of speculation, a massive conspiracy ordered JFK's demise and sabotaged the investigations that followed. It is a cover-up that continues to this day. Bestselling author Harrison Edward Livingstone has written extensively on the Kennedy assassination and has long led the investigation into the murder of President Kennedy. Harrison Edward Livingstone reveals the dark heart of a deadly conspiracy through such evidence as the high level Texans that ran the conspiracy; Links between persons in the FBI, the CIA, and the Mafia; Lee Harvey Oswald's frame-up as the "fall guy" for the assassination; Startling connections between the JFK conspiracy and the Watergate scandal; Official autopsy photographs that are proven forgeries; The testimonies of over fifty eyewitnesses that were completely ignored by the Warren Commission; and shortly after the assassination on November 22, 1963, the FBI knew there was a bullet lodged in JFK's skull. The reasons why this was covered up are obvious. High Treason is investigative journalism at its best For the first time, the New York Times bestsellerHigh Treason is presented as it was originally written in 1979-80. The new book is updated, annotated, and revised in this volume. Prominent JFK assassination researcher Martin Shackleford calls High Treason the best introduction to the evidence that has ever been written, and the book gives an overview of the case. It was the prelude to five more massive works by the author. The Guardian wrote that "Livingstone's monumental investigation makes an invaluable contribution to solving the mystery of Kennedy's death." "The Documentation is copious, the many photos... add intrigue and the general tone is of a thoroughly serious nature. A must." The Booklist about High Treason. "Case reopened Killing the Truth contains plenty of new evidence. Even more readable and exciting than his last bestseller." Kirkus Reviews "Gutsy... no one should miss his summary of the hard evidence for a conspiracy." Times (London) Praise for Killing Kennedy "This book may have the potential to blow the Kennedy assassination wide open... explosive new evidence is revealed." The Fourth Decade (Prof. Jerry Rose's Journal of Assassination Research) This description may be from another edition of this product.

A thorough and overall objective analysis of the JFK assasination.

The authors do a very credible and thorough job of bringing to light facts that make it very difficult to believe that a lone gunman killed JFK from the rear. The forensic medical evidence, including eye witness reports from multiple health care workers who directly saw the President's wounds, is particularly compelling, as is evidence that the autopsy films and other documents were altered. Convincing analysis of the Zapruder...

Very Informative

This was the book that introduced me to the mysteries surrounding the JFK Assassination. Recently, I revisited this book and read it again. I am glad I did. I found this book to be an interesting read. I also found it to be very direct and to the point about what the authors think happened. I appreciated how they lined the information out step by step by step to back up their beliefs. I was particularly interested in the unusual...

Thorough review of all pertinent data.

Though it can be a little dry at times, ' High Treason' is an upfront, clear and concise accounting of the events surrounding 22 Nov 1963. The dryness can only be attributed to the complete and thourough inclusion of all pertinent evidence relevent to a murder investigation of this type. Too many of these books tend to sell a story to the reader, and while 'High Treason'does contain some great 'Sound Bites', the research...
