Children Need to Read

My 9 year old grandaughter is a big fan of anything "High School Musical". Though this book has a lot of pictures, it also has ample reading text. My grandaugthter loves this book and read every word. Couldn't ask for more.

HSM: The Essential Guide

This book is a great book for anyone who has seen, or will see, all three of the HSM movies. It is very informative and has inside info on the characters that is featured in the third film. When you get this book, it is a good way to start off HSM3 because when you see the movie, you will already know some of the background info. The graphics in the book are similar to that on the CD art of the HSM2 soundtrack with all of the line drawings. Very good pictures inside and alot of new ones of HSM3. The book has two pages for each Wildcat and two pages on the new Wildcats as well as the supporting characters like Zeke and Martha, etc. This book is a must-have if you, like me, saw the first HSM when it premiered and have followed it since then all the way to now. It's kind of like a book to show the fan what they have experienced over the past two years which is pretty cool. The cover is great. The jacket is the exact same thing except it has "glitter" looking effects on the front. The only thing I did not like about this book was the price. I know it seems like a little bit but when I bought mine at Barnes & Noble, because no one else ahd it, I couldn't decide whether I wanted this or the graphic novel. Why? Because the graphic novel is the same height and width but it was ten dollars and has 112 pages. While this book is thirteen dollars and has 48 pages. I picked this just because it was about all 3 movies and had cool facts and stuff unlike the other one which is basically another "Stories at East High" except it has pictures. Anyway, this is a MUST-HAVE for the HSM fan you know or live with. But be sure to call the store ahead of time so you don't waste your time and gas getting there and the book isn't there. ::turns red::
