This book, originally self-published in 1910, by Miss A Clarke, gives a large number of recipes for making sweets or candies, and cakes. According to the preface this book was "issued at the request of many pupils, both personal and correspondence, in many parts of the country." With over 230 recipes, the book is organised in two parts, "Sweets" and "Cakes". The present edition has been newly typeset and formatted for the modern reader.
