Love it!

Hidden Motives or as I know it The Crystal Caverns is one of my favorites. I can't help but reread it again and again. With so many twists and turns it keeps my attention from beggining to end. Hannah Alexander keeps you wondering through out the whole story.

A Page Turner

This book has action, suspense, romance, plot twists and turns, and quite a few red herrings. Dr. Sable Chamberlain's grandfather has been murdered and now someone's made an attempt on her life. As Sable is literally running for her life she smacks right into Paul Miur[hy, an EMS worker at her hospital. They soon discover there are more dead bodies and they're both being framed for murder. Sable and Paul try to get off the beaten path and take a bus to Sable's family home in the Ozark Mountains. The winding roads become too treacherous for the bus in the ice storm of the century a short distance from Sable's home, so she reluctantly offers the other passengers shelter. Soon an attempt is made on Paul's life when he's out chopping wood and a few of the bus passengers turn up dead. It's apparent Sable and Paul can only trust each other. This is a page turner and a suspenseful read.

Great Romantic Suspense

Sable Chamberlain is in trouble. Someone killed her grandfather and a couple of attempts have been made on her own life. Now Sable and her friend, Paul Murphy, are on the way to her family home, deep in the Ozark Mountains. The Greyhound bus they are riding becomes stranded on icy roads a short distance from the old family farmhouse, and Sable is forced to offer the other passengers shelter. As strange things begin to happen, it appears they are sheltering an enemy, one who wants Sable dead. Riviting suspense, and plenty of action. Fans of Hannah Alexander won't want to miss this exciting story of love and murder set in the beautiful Ozarks. Recommended.

An Entertaining and Memorable Read

The Crystal Cavern by author Hannah Alexander is a memorable, page-turning story. Join Sable Chamberlin and Paul Murphy on a quest to unravel the secrets of the caves beneath Sable's home. What mystery did her grandfather stumble upon before his untimely death? Will they be able to find out in time, or will they die trying? In Agatha Christie tradition, the story finds Sable and Paul trapped in a house with a suspicious group of strangers, many with their own set of secrets. Someone is sabotaging Sable and Paul's efforts to get to the bottom of the mystery, bringing them to the brink of disaster. Will they escape this villain's clutches, before it is too late?I found The Crystal Cavern to be an enjoyable read, with characters that stayed with me long after the story ended. Hannah Alexander knows how to weave an intriguing tale. You won't be disappointed.

Can strangers be trusted when you're trying to survive?

The Crystal Cavern takes the reader on a thrilling ride right from the first page, with heart stopping twists and turns that keep you guessing right to the end. Running for their lives, Sable Chamberlin and Paul Murphy are determined to discover the truth behind the death of Sable's grandfather and the mystery he left behind. But stranded in an ice storm in a creepy house atop an intimidating cavern, with a bunch of strangers to keep them company, makes their task a lot more tricky... and much more deadly. An engrossing read that would appeal to lovers of mystery and suspense. ~~Ellie Schroder, owner of The Christian Fiction Site
