A must read! Wendy's story is so beautifully woven with truth and grace. This book shows intimately how totally dependant we are on God. I can not wait to dig deeper into the scriptures through the study guide that is given in the back of the book. Her journey is so inspiring. I can't imagine not being a better person because of this book.

Surrendering to God's Purpose

Wendy takes you on a journey from tragedy to triumph. It is a beautiful illustration of how only God can take something so painful and horrific and turn it into something that would be used for His glory. Wendy's story is one that we can all identify with when tragedy strikes. She asked the questions, "Where was God?", "Why did He allow this to happen?" We can feel the emotions that Wendy struggled with throughout this journey. She shares how returning over and over again to God's Word brought her healing. It is a story of God's transforming power.

This book makes it easy to see the Bible as a living document

As a busy mom I have been a "Bible study dropout." I have not been able to complete the homework required of most Bible studies.
