Hey Diddle Diddle by Theresa Howell is a new take on the popular nursery rhyme. In this rhyming version, the desert critters dance and play music by the light of the moon. This is an early reader board book that "rocks!" Young children will have a good time acting out the words to the story as it is read to them. The illustrations, by Liz Conrad, are big, bold and colorful dancing and singing animals that will draw the children into the story. I found myself smiling as I read it.
