IntroductionHeterotopic pregnancy is the coexistence of extra- and intrauterine pregnancy implantation sites (1)The incidence of heterotopic pregnancy in spontaneous pregnancies is approximately 1/30,000 (1).Results: The mean age of the patients was 37 years.Clinical symptomatology was lateralized pelvic pain in the context of amenorrhea in all 3 patients.Ultrasound showed an arrested intrauterine pregnancy and a latero-uterine mass in all 3 patients.Management was surgical in all 3 patients.Postoperative management was straightforward in all 3 patients.Conclusion: Heterotopic pregnancies remain an extremely rare condition and difficult to diagnose.Careful clinical and ultrasound monitoring of the pregnant woman from the start of pregnancy, maintenance of a broad differential diagnosis and exploration of abnormalities on first-trimester ultrasound are essential to identify a potentially fatal pathology, and enable rapid and appropriate management of the patient.
