I bought this after seeing Kimberly on Martha. I read it to my 8 month old every week, it's a great way to encourage eating vegetables and the pictures are great for any age.

Creative Way to Encourage Veggies

This story was a great, and simple, way to encourage my son (age 6) to try eating different things. He even quotes the Mom in the story, "sometimes you have to try things more than once." The concept of the "city kid" going on a trip to "the country" gave it a sense of adventure for him. Thank you, Kimberly Williams-Paisley! PS Love your husband's music!

I loved the idea behind the book and so did my daughter. The illustrations were great as well. great job.
