Good Book on Helping Others Through Christ

Neil Anderson continues his excellent authorship in Helping Others Find Freedom Through Christ by showing the reader one way people can be lovingly discipled into maturity in Jesus Christ. Among the important points covered in the book include: 1. While most people worry what other people think of them, we should be more concerned over what God thinks of us. 2. 7 characteristics from 2 Timothy 2:24-26 of the kind of person God uses. 3. We are limited in our binding and loosing of evil influences. 4. A person has to be responsible for his/her own setting aside the flesh and being renewed in the Spirit. 5. Regardless of our background, God will use us if we are yielded to Him and are compassionate towards others. 6. We have to trust God for what He alone can do and take responsibility for what we can do. 7. When listening to someone else's pain, do not take the offense up as your own (weep with them but do not take the pain personally). 8. We live in a rebellious age and cannot expect God's blessing if we rebel against those in authority! 9. 5 principles used by Daniel to make an appeal to one in authority over us. 10. Excellent notes on the futility of pride and why we need to admit our dependence on God. The book seems to be Biblically-based instead of the newest trends in counseling and is full of practical advice. Read and enjoy! Highly recommended.
