"I ain't never tasted bad whiskey nor seen an ugly woman."

In the rugged mountains of the Northwest;Fargo comes upon a wagonload of women headed for Chandlerville;only problem is, Fargo knows this country like the back of his hand;and there simply ain't no town by that name anywhere in the area.He explains to them that they are in very hostile country,and their skills in travelling this wilderness are so lacking that they are heading for certain disaster.He offers to help them reach safety,but they are having no part of it.They are certain in what they are doing;but Fargo is determined to help them;whether they want his help or not. It doesn't take long for trouble to appear;and it seems like their demise is certain.Fortunately ,Skye runs into a couple of fellow frontier types he has known for years.These fellows are about as colorful as any characters we've ever met in this series,and thanks to their help;it seems they might even succeed. This is a great saga,well written, and filled with excitement.As a matter of fact it is one of the best episodes I've read in this series;which is about as good as any of the ones you can read.The other reviewer,tells us who the actual writer is and I have to agree with him;he is one of the best.I don't know why the publishers don't want to tell us who the actual writers are,or how that other reviewer knows his name. This episode is pure Old West in every respect.It is filled with great writing and expressions that makes the reader stop and say to himself,"Boy what a line or description".Here are just a few to give you an idea of what you'll find from this writer,John Edward Ames: "But that lanky,woman-hogging intruder would be strewn in so many pieces they'd have to bury him with a rake." "You so much as twitch a muscle,mister"commanded a voice that clearly brooked no defiance,"and you'll be walking with your ancestors." "Smart ain't high on a man's list,"Fargo retorted,"once he's got blood in his eyes." "Keep it up,you old jackass,"Fargo warned in a mutter,"and I swear I'll cut your tongue out.You're juggling dynamite."

Hell on Wheels and Off

Skye Fargo hasn't been randier or tougher and the women are hot. No surprise from the best western writer today (John Edward Ames writing as Jon Sharpe). Not to say the other Jon Sharpes aren't good, they ALL are. HELL'S BELLES has wit, humor, sex, violence and an ultra-realistic look at the old west. Man on man, get this one and keep reading THE TRAILSMAN.
