Bonjour Hola Konnichiwa Learn how to say "hello" in French, Spanish, Japanese---and many more languages Children from all around the world say "hello" each in their own languages, each and every day.... This description may be from another edition of this product.
I orginally purchased this book while I was teaching elementary school and my students enjoyed it. But now I am a SAHM and it is one of my 2-year-old daughter's favorite read-a-louds. She can almost all 42 of the different languages and even more amazingly remembers which kid's picture goes with which language. I definitely recommend this book for kids and adults of all ages!

Hello world does just what it says; the book contains multiple ways to say hello in various languages from around the world. Each greeting has an illustration of a child waving to the reader. I teach 7th grade World History, and I took the book apart and made a hello wall in my classroom. This book is fun for my students because they like saying hello in different languages to me when they enter into my classroom. I liked this book as it was a different way for my students to learn a little bit about the multitude of cultures around the world. Overall, this is a great teaching resource for world cultures.

I bought this book to use to write greetings for my morning messages. It was worth it! It has "hello" in many different languages, accompanied by a pronunciation for each one, the language that it comes from, and a full page drawing of a child that represents that country. My class loves the full color pictures and interesting ways to say, "Hello!"
