At first skeptical by summary, but fell in love with the characters.

At first, I was a little skeptical that I wouldn't like the plot just by reading the plot summary, but wow did Katherine Center prove me wrong. I absolutely enjoyed this book. Sadie's facial blindness gives so much depth to her character, and I learned so much about this condition. Sadie, also, had a lot of character growth. The relationship between her and Oliver starts off slow with just Sadie's having a crush, but it builds to so much more. I loved that their relationship was not based on just the physical. The plot twist in the end was a happy and funny little surprise.

Read this book!

I so loved this book I couldn't eat dinner trying to finish it and then I was so sad to see it end! This is book is golden. Let me just say first that I've never read a Katherine Center book that I didn't love. Her books aren't filled with fluff but they will still make you laugh and help you to believe in the overall good of (most) people. I love the way that her characters face real, major life issues. I love the way the "supporting" characters are fully developed and I really loved Sadie and Joe. This one encourages you to look at things differently so you can really see what's real. Pun intended. You'll get it after you READ THE BOOK!

Romance

This is a Romance/Women's Fiction. This book has so many things that kept me pulled into the story, and I loved all the characters. There are a few twisted and side things going on in this book that I really loved. I will not go into details because it may spoil things for other readers, but I will say this book was really well written with a great storyline. The main character was just so great, and she got face blindness after a surgery that takes place in the very beginning of this book. I loved seeing how she handled it, and I really do not know how I would handle not being able to see people's faces. I listened to the audiobook of this book, and I really enjoyed the narrator. The narrator was easy to understand. I received an ARC of this book. This review is my own honest opinion about the book like all my reviews are.
