Mike Scott kicks humor up a notch

I agree with the guy from Beverly Hills; move over Kurt Vonegut, Tom Robbins and Kilgore Trout and make room for Mike Scott. I have lived in New York all my life and Heiress hits home. I'm sure glad someone has come along and given us Italians the real credit we deserve for the good we have done and continue to do. I hope that a good actor like Johnny Depp gets to play Junior in the movie. There is more originality in this book than anything that I have read this year. Heiress is a must read and Mike Scott is number one in our house.

Sexy and Funny

Heiress is a Spoof, a deliberate exaggeration of the truth that kept me laughing page after page. If you took the Sopranos and gave them a non-gangster identity then you would have the non-violent lampoon of Heiress. As the child of Italian parentage I can identify with the Italian mentality and way of life east of the Mississippi. Mike Scott is imaginative and exhorts a knowledge of East coast Italian lifestyle. It is a book for every Italian romantic. I can imagine Benicio Del Toro playing the role of Junior opposite an actress like Catherine Zeta-Jones in a smashing, blockbuster movie. Heiress is a step ahead of any of the books that I have read so far this year. I was born and raised in South Phila. Many of us Italians have made it legitimately just like the Italians in Heiress. It is a story that must be read and I hope they make it into a movie.

Edgy action adventure told within a romanic comedy

Move over Kurt Vonegut, Tom Robbins and Kilgore Trout and make room for Mike Scott. Mike takes humor to a new level with foreign language (Italian terms). The elusive Osama bin Ladin gets away again allowing Mike to carry the bad guy into his forth coming new book....Oil Bandits.

Extremely Funny

You got to believe that Mike Scott is a very talented man to come up with the kind of originality that Heiress represents. I read the prequel "We Did It" and I laughed for days like I did with Heiress. This one is a winner and a keeper.

Heiress is the funniest book in the new Millennium

Mike Scott takes you on a trip to your Italian relatives on the East Coast....the relatives that enjoy White House Subs in Atlantic City and Pat's Steak sandwiches in South Phila. I loved the Action adventures of Laura, the Heiress and her love escapades with Junior.
