Spectacular

I would like to comment to ALL just how much I Loved reading, Constance O'Day-Flannery new book, " Heaven on Earth" . A friend sent me her book. This was the very first in 54 years of life, I have ever read a romance novel. She is one Lady I plan on reading more of. I am now an advivd reader. I truly enjoyed how indepth she can see life, love and the true meaning of why we are here. Travelling in time was an experience I had not had done before. What irony is, just last night, I watched the movie Zorro and totally relate her book to that time. Every page is an adventure. I found myself scolding Casey, and loving Luke. When she turned the tables, I listened, watched and learned. Thank you so much Julia T. Stout

Time Travel At It's Best

I have read Constance O'Day-Flannery's books for several years and have even back ordered some of her work to finish my collection. This has to be one of her best. I love the time period, the romantic Spanish culture and the characters. I seriously had a hard time putting this book down. It was an enjoyable read from begining to end with no uncomfortable pauses. I would love to see her take these two characters use them to visit other era's and see where she takes them. This is one not to miss, so don't miss out.

Fabulous!

A severe thunderstorm transported accountant Casey O'Reilly back to 1878 Santa Fe where she encountered Luke d'Seraphin, a mysterious, handsome stranger. He may have been the answer to her hopes and dreams, but Casey had to wonder. Would she ever want to go back to the year 2000 and back to her dead end job counting bars of soap? This poignant, sensual novel shows a lot of depth and balance. Once again Constance O'Day Flannery shows why she's the reigning queen of time travel romances. The words she writes are words to live by and for, whether it be 1878 or 2000. Fabulous!

I LOVED IT!

I finished reading this book yesterday, and I can't stop thinking about it. As a single woman, the heroine touched my heart with her honesty and the hero Luke -- well, he's worth going back in time to find. The historical information was thought-provoking and the picturesque way Ms. O'Day-Flannery paints Santa Fe, I'm spending my next vacation there. This was a nice, cozy read about a sensative, developing relationship and the growth of a woman. Perfect for my rainy day yesterday!

The "queen of time-travel romances" pens a good one

Casey O'Reilly is driving from Albuquerque to Santa Fe to visit her sister when lightning hits her. When she awakens, Luc d'Seraphin helps her reach Santa Fe. However, instead of the year being 2000, it is 1878. Casey rejects the concept of time travel although the visible evidence proves she is not in 2000. Luke explains he is a veteran traveler and tries to guide her until she accepts the pattern that is unfolding and learns to trusts in herself.Over the next ten days, Casey falls in love with Luke and begins to more than just trust herself. She trusts Luke. He, to his shock, reciprocates her feelings, but refuses to act on it for her sake. However, she finally persuades him to make love. As the time to leave for home occurs, a pregnant Casey and Luke are separated, but she has all the time in the world while waiting for his return to her. While underscored by a warm romance, this tale centers on an interesting, unique plot that provides depth to the complexities of time travel. The story line is action packed while imparting much insight into the late 1870s Hispanic-American culture. The lead couple is a dynamic team that makes time travel seems like a genuine part of physics. Constance O'Day-Flannery makes her time travel novels read like HEAVEN ON EARTH to sub-genre fans.Harriet Klausner
