I love Nick and Charlie and their gang so much!

Normally I only review volumes one, five, ten, ect., but this is a special case as I feel it's important to know how wonderful this book described the challenges of mental illness, not just as a teenager but for a person of any age. Instead of telling the story from one viewpoint or another, it showed the love, worry, and challenges of being the loved one (Nick) of someone suffering from mental illness, but it also showed the mindset, feelings, and resilience of the person afflicted (Charlie). I don't want to spoil anything but I consider (most of) their families a bright point too. It must be said that while not every family is perfect, even the best family has their ups and downs, but in times when they need each other people tend to step up and are there for one another. That goes for friends too. If a person you care for doesn't seem like themselves or if they're going through something, talk to them, it can be hard but sometimes just saying, "Hey dude, how are you?" and listening can go a long way.
