Aside from the fact that it took awhile to get here, my book was in pristine condition and raring for reading!

an interesting psych text

I used this book for a senior seminar in health psychology. I found it very interesting and well organized. This text can turn anyone into the paranoid voice of doom of his/her social network. Rattle off disturbing statistics. From an educational point of view, this is a great introduction into the world of health psychology, which is apparently a lucrative field.

I use this book.

I chose it after reviewing other psychology books (about 10) and find that it gives students a good background in Health Psychology without making many of the mistakes of other Health Psychology books. Plus, it's much less expensive and more readable than other texts. I expect that my students will not only purchase it but also read it!
