I was looking for the appropriate gift for a friend (who has everything!)-- not too expensive but thoughtful. This is it! Heads of the Master is a well illustrated, whimsical and knowledgeable text for the art enthusiast. Fine art happens to be my major. It is evident the author has an underlying appreciation and understanding for the Master's works. The subject of toilets is a delightfully humorous approach that conveys both the art history and the essence of these styles. Displayed in the bathroom the book is great entertainment for my guests. I often get their comments. The quiz at the back of the book is fun and educational. This book is also a great incentive for a unique "stocking stuffer" and/or a hostess gift in-a-pinch!
