Head Case Lacrosse Goalie

I liked the book I is a pleasant read and flows nicely. It seems like normal "kids" talking. I learned a lot about lacrosse. It emphasizes that girls can compete in sports, can be equals, can be friends and discuss serious subjects. It shows that parents are seldom aware of their children's needs. Neighbors and friends are very important. Coaches can inspire their students with a few well thought out words. It demonstrates the need to recognize a problem, seek advice and act on it. Be respectful of opponents. Don't gloat. Be humble. Accept praise and move on. I hope our grandsons will internalize these messages from this book.
