Beautiful book

This book is a precious book about the kindness and love another can display for another human. Forgiveness and laying one’s self down for another no matter the age. Yes is is about the love and price paid by our Savior for our lives, it’s also about the price love costs everyone truly to love another not just in word but in action. It’s beautiful.

The clearest explanation behind Christianity

I highly, highly recommend this book. The story is a parable of the main message of Christianity (the setting is probably during or around the Depression era), and the illustrations are breathtaking. My children are always visibly moved when we read this book together. You will want to read this book to your children over and over again.

Me, a grown man, crying...

That's right, there I am at the local Deseret Book Store reading this book and tearing up. So, I bought it!!I've loved this story after first reading it from Gordon B. Hinckley's Christmas address several years ago. I cried then, I still tear up now.This is a wonderful book that depicts what Christ went through for us. It is so powerful. It even appeals to me because the person that the loving sacrifice was made for was named Jim.Now that the story is told with beautiful and lifelike illustrations makes it even more powerful. I am showing this book to every person I can. I love this book.Highly, highly recommended.
