Not good used book at all so much writing in it you can`t read the book

Received my book and it had so much writing in it i cant even use it or read it. Even has very personal prayer request in it that i didn't even want to know these things. I could return it yes and get a refund however i don't feel that is right. Because they will just resell it. I plan to throw it away to be honest. I feel the person who had it and did all the writing should have done this. The prayer request are very personal and i don't think anyone else should read them. Also it is phone numbers in it as well. Very disappointed in the way i got this book. I mean i could be okay with some but not like someone who used it like it was there journal with private information. It will make me think twice before i purchase a book from them again.

Workbook

I did not know the answers were written in the workbook I guess I need to be more careful next time. Disappointed on this one.

Not happy

I didn't realize this was a 'workbook'. It was sold to me with the answers written in it. Not cool at all. I'm not sure if this is a review for the book itself OR the person who sold it.

this book, which is also available in bible study format, is just an amazing instrument to open your heart to just how much you are loved by God. It is a practical, spirtual and funny journey to a closer relationship with God. You will definitely be listening more and getting closer to God once you have experience the power of Priscilla Shirer's expression of how God helps give us His best. It is the gift to give your friends.

Excellent motivational Bible study!

Though I have not yet finished this book, what I have read is amazing! It is inspirational, motivational, and will give you the "push" that you need to fully give your life to God and see the awesome places and things He has planned for you!! I highly recommend it!

Excellent study

I just finished reading He Speaks to Me by Priscilla Shirer and it was wonderful! If you like Beth Moore, you will definitely like Ms. Shirer. Some books that I read like this often fizzle out towards the end and pack less punch, but this one only got better. I think I underlined half the book! I felt encouraged, comforted and convicted all at the same time and I very much look forward to applying this practical principles to my life. They are not new principles, but her directness and clarity really made it so real to me. I can also relate to her as she is a mom of young children as well! It is based on 1 Samuel 3. Very worth the read!

good group book

A group of women related only by neighborhood (not church affiliation or denomination, nor maturity in faith) are doing this study. It is a challenge for sure, but worth recommending! The study focuses on why young Samuel heard the voice of God, and how we (particularly women) can be more directed and transformed by Him. The author is not afraid to get to your heart and ask tough questions. Note: "hearing from God" is not charasmatic in this book, but it pushes the reader to dig into the word of God for true understanding and transformation. The "homework" questions are open-ended, rather than fill in the blank, but very manageable to do for a weekly study. Hot public topics (wives submitting to husbands, homosexuality, legalism, and more) are in this study. This might present a challenge in group discussions, but don't shy away from it! Take the lead from the author and concentrate on your own heart, rather than the failings of anyone else, and you'll find true value in this book. Our group has grown (in numbers, faith, and relationship with each other) during the course of this study.

Anyone who wants to "Hear the Voice of God", this book is truly a God sent! This book was used in a bible study that was dynamic! Excellent and I can't hardly wait for the next book! Pricilla Shirer by far did a excellent job in preparing and providing the necessary guidance in her book! Well Done!
