Convicted of killing thirteen people with a single curse, he was said to be the heir apparent to the Dark Lord, Voldemort. Now he has escaped, leaving only two clues as to where he might be headed: Harry Potter's defeat of You-Know-Who was Black's downfall as well. Disappointing purchase!

No "jacket" even though listed as "very good." Additionally, there is damage to the binding and writing on the books interior?

Binding is broke

I purchased this book in “Like New” condition and the binding is completely broken

The book came unreadable, transformed into a keepsake box with the pages glued together and a secret

Didn’t get to read it

Love this book, but disappointed in the good condition

Bind is broken, I would not consider that a good condition book

Wrong Book - Do Not Oder! Buyer Beware! False Advertising

DO NOT ODER FROM THIS SELLER. I received the wrong book. The seller put the dust jacket for Prisoner of Azkaban over the Chamber of Secrets book. This is false advertising and now it won't let me do a return.

Not as described

Advertised as good condition bit has some really worn spots and didn't even have the illustrated cover.... really disappointed

pretty good

My book came without a dust jacket (but I’m covering them with ones I bought on insta). The corners of the cover are pretty beat up and fraying, and the book leans a lot. But the pages are great!

Was an excellent read

I really enjoy rereading all the Harry Potter books. Such a delightful series.

An accurate description of condition.an accurate description of condition

Will not buy from here. I do not like books that have been written in. I purchased book in very good condition. The book I received is in good condition at best. It has writing on almost every page.

Great job

Book as advertised My daughter loves it Thank you!

Just a warning

When you order the illustrated version, (for $16.99 or more depending on "market price") there's a chance what you'll receive instead is a 4 page preview of the edition.

Book pictured was not recieved.

Thumbs down! I ordered the first edition harry potter, book three. Picture displayed was correct. Book shipped and received was not.

All time fave! Nvm the author (sorry not sorry)

Never left the top 10 spot of my all time favorite series. I dunno how many times have I reread this series along with PJO & TMI 💕 Perfect for kids and young at hearts 😁

I opened the book to find it was missing pages

I was very excited to read this book but quickly realized it came with torn out pages. It was completely missing pages 163-206. What a bummer.

Perfect condition

Great!

Came as expected

Matched the descprition perfectly.

Great prices and Great quality !

- I loved the book, Harry Potter is a classic series! The quality of the book is also great and for the price.

Item not as listed

This book was supposed to be hard cover, and it arrived paperback.

No Dust Jacket!

I usually don't complain, especially over $4 books, but I was only buying the book FOR the dust jacket and it wasn't included. I wasn't going to write a review but the second part of my order, book 4, came with the dust jacket to book 5. Any other series I would highly recommend thritbooks, but if you're looking for exactly what you ordered, there's just too many used editions of Harry Potter to risk it in my opinion.

Brilliant as Ever

J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban is an exciting fairytale about a boy named Harry Potter. Harry grows up with his aunt and uncle on Privet Drive. He has never known his parents because the most feared and powerful wizard, Lord Voldimort, murdered them. As Harry grows up he receives a letter from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. At Hogwarts Harry meets his two best friends, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. Ron is a red haired, freckled faced boy who wishes he could have a glimpse of Harry's fame and glory. While on the other hand Hermoine is a bushy brown haired, know-it-all girl who could answer any question you throw at her. As Harry progressed to his third year at Hogwarts he encounters many mysterious visits from a "Grim". Althought Harry isn't scared of the "Grim", he can't help feeling that he is being followed by it. Throughout this book Harry and his friends encounter many different obstacles dealing with death and putting their lives on the line with danger to save their schoolmates and their school. To find out what happens to Harry, Ron, and Hermione as they fallow the mysterious "Grim", you must read this exciting page-turner. J.K. Rowling's style of writing differs from other books. She uses a gigantic variety of words and also adds in some British words to add style and character to her books. All of her exotic words describe the many different details about Hogwarts, what the different characters look like, what their expression is, and what they are doing. As you read this book you will find yourself imagining a film running through your head because of J.K. Rowling's use of colorful words.

A great book!

Harry potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban is a great book! I enjoied it very much in spanish. Harry Potter is once again having many adventures, but one could cost his live. Who will help him with his troubles, what obsticles will he meet, but most important will he come out alive? They only way to find out, is to read this facinating book! Now people of all languages can enjoy all books in the HARRY POTTER seires!

The best Harry Potter book prior to July 8, 2000

Boy was this an excellent book. I read the entire series in the span of a month (I would have read them quicker if I hadn't had school). I am 17, but this book is as enjoyable to me as it must be to the supposed "target age group" of 10 year olds. I loved the first two novels of Harry Potter as well, but this was the best. In the 1st book, we are introduced to all the characters, and in the second the characters are developed. By the third book, we are all used to the characters, so they're personalities really flourish, creating a great story. Meeting James Potter's old friends help us learn more of his fate surrounding his death and why Sirius Black is imprisoned, which develop the story to its fullest. Adding characters like Lupin and Black make for good reading. I can't wait to read the next one.

A Book to Get your Kids to Read!

I am the mother of three children as well as a teacher. My 10 yr old son hated to read. We started reading the first Harry Potter book when it came out and he was hooked. We read a couple of chapters together whenever we could. We are still reading #2 2gether, but I read on ahead and let me tell you, #3 is the BEST! I have read it twice alone and can't wait to get to it with my son. These books have made a reader out of my son and we enjoy reading them together. The characters are wonderful and the action is addicting. All the students that I read these books with also love Harry. The Harry Potter series is a parent and teacher's dream! We just can't wait for #4. My daughters' are 4 and 7 and these books are still a little over both of their heads. But for kids 10 and up, Harry is a hit.

Good stories often provide welcome escapes from life's challenges, and those that also allow us to slip into the past or jump into the future can be especially welcome in exasperating times. While a pop classic like the movie Back to the Future is an obvious choice for a fun, time-bending adventure, and holiday favorites such as Groundhog Day and A Christmas Carol also toy with time in unique ways, many other books and movies effectively explore the power and impact of time travel as well.
