Nearly an Excellent Account of the Shipman Case!

I have to say that I was very impressed with the information regarding Dr. Harold Shipman who may have been one of Britain's and if not the world's most notorious serial killers. Unlike others, Shipman targeted older women. When he felt like playing God, he took their lives quietly. There was no violence. He would kill them by using a drug. He got away with murder on several occasions because people believed in his story of natural causes. There was nothing natural about it most of the time. He felt like playing God. I believe this book was more solid than the other book I read. They were more ready to provide information on the exhumation of the victims who were mostly women but there male victims as well. Unlike other serial killers, he did not do it because for sexual gratification. He did it because he enjoyed the power of playing God by determining who would live and who would die. There were many healthy women. Unless you read the Shipman Inquiry which is provided online, you can know about all the victims. You can know about whose remains were interred in this book. Thankfully, the authors have decided to reveal that information of which cemeteries. In England, 70% of the deceased are cremated and it would be impossible and not only costly to examine the cremated remains if they are still available. Many families have scattered their loved ones remains. Sadly, the tragedy is that the doctor was trusted and beloved while he was also suspected. Shipman could have a cruel streak which he mistreated office employees as well as some patients and colleagues. Now, he is gone. HE committed suicide in prison.
