Harlan Breen may be a robber, but he'd never kill anyone. Harlan Jarrett, on the other hand, has no problem with murder, but no one knows about that yet. So when a dying woman lives just long enough... This description may be from another edition of this product.
In this novel wild-west serial killer Harlan Jarrett is sought by bank robber Harlan Breen. Because of their common name, Breen is mistaken for Jarrett, and the only thing between him and a noose is catching the killer himself. The catch is, Breen is not such good man himself. Harlan Breen makes for an intriguing character, and the journey he takes in reclaiming his "good" name comprises the bulk of the narrative. The final showdown between Breen and Jarrett does not conform to the typical Hollywood format, but is wholly satisfying in it's own way. If you enjoy a well-crafted Western, this one is worth your time.
