A touch of Istanbul

I'm just about 2/3 through this book and I am already on line looking at what the next Barbara Nadel book will be for my reading pleasure. Others have compared her books to Donna Leon and her books on Venice. I like the story line and the only problem I think the reader will have is remembering what name goes with what character. I understand the turkish names because of travelling numerous times there, however I think the average person will have to jump a few hurdles to remember who is who. Nadel takes her time with developing the characters so you want to continue reading to find out more and more, Jumping in-between different episodes to bring all the characters together. It has been a good read for the coffee shop, waiting at the dr. office and sitting on the front porch. Not too heavy and not too hollywood. Enjoy
