My kids and I really like this one. Slim leaves the ranch to try and find a job up north, but the dogs think they've traveled a lot farther than they actually have and it is hilariously funny!
Great Book

I love all the Hank books, and this is a great one for the Christmas season. These books are hilarious and more important to the young reader, fun to read. I'd also check the rest of the series. Author of "Hobo Finds A Home" editor "Of A Predatory Heart"
Hank the Cowdog #34 Slim's Goodbye

Times are difficult on the ranch so Slim decides to leave and find a new job. Hank & Drover see an opportunity to go for a ride and jump in Slim's pick-up...no knowing that Slim doesn't plan to come back. Can't reveal the ending, but this one will entertain you as all of the series does. John Erickson does it again.
