Hanged for a Sheep by Frances & Richard Lockridge is one of the many adventures of Pam & Jerry North and their friend, Lieutenant Bill Weigand. This description may be from another edition of this product.
Pamela and Jerry North, a husband-and-wife detective team in World War II New York, investigate the poisoning, shooting, and hanging that occur in the brownstone owned by Pamela's wealthy and much married aunt, which she shares with a dog's breakfast of descendants. Over the course of a tense few days while a blizzard rages outside, everyone suspects everyone else, and chaos ensues. The book is not profound, but it is entertaining, and the characters are diverting.
