Storyline from Publisher . . .

Private investigator Cassie York is determined to crack her first case hands down. But just as she's about to make her move on a suspected con man, a complete stranger sidetracks her with the hottest kiss she's ever had. Cassie's shock turns to disbelief when she gets a good look at the gorgeous renegade. It's bad enough FBI agent Dalton Styles has blown her setup. Worse yet -- they're after the same man!Dalton can't believe he has to join forces with this smart-mouthed, sweetly seductive rookie to wrap up his case. But he can't complain about posing as husband and wife with her at a bogus mariage retreat -- they argue about everything, but oh man, making up is so worth it! Even thoguh it's supposed to be an act to get close to their suspect, how the heck will Dalton ever get through the intensely erotic hands-on workshops and keep his hands off Cassie?

The FBI guy and the PI Can?t Keep their Hands Off Each Other

FBI agent Dalton Styles is about to arrest a con man who has been separating divorced woman from their cash. He's set up a sting and is just about to make the arrest when wise-cracking Cassie York steps into the deal and almost blows it. It turns out she's a P.I. who has been hired to catch a cheating husband, who just happens to by Dalton's con artist.Dalton comes up with the idea of the two of them going undercover as an man and wife as it seems to be the best way to catch our con guy. Of course they have to share the same bed and you can guess where this rollicking frolicking romance goes from there. However, will our new lovers want to stay together after their trickster is safely behind bars?Ms. Rawlins has writen just the kind of story that I like to read. The people seem real, with real problems, for example when Dalton has to deal with the pain of his past divorce, we feel it right along with him. And Cassie is just a character to die for. After all, everybody loves a smart-mouthed, wise-cracking, lady private investigator, don't they? I know I do. And I loved this book and I think you will too.A Harlequin Dreamers Review by Lori Napier Mayer
