“Don’t let fear drive you into a pit of superstition”.

The story has been told several times, mostly better than this movie.
“Surgical scientists in every country all over the world are dedicated to the truth that human life may be extended indefinitely.”
You are not supposed to see that this is a remake of “The Hands of Orlac” Original title: Orlacs Hände, 1924.
A composer loses his hands in an accident. They are replaced in surgery.
He decides that, because he cannot play the piano immediately, it is a conspiracy; the composer sets out to rectify the source of the problem.
One interesting spot is where Sally Kellerman plays a girl named Sue. Strange to see her so young.
This is just a “handy replacement” movie. So do not get your hopes up.
